|Trail:||Children's Sculpture Trail|
|Contributor:||NatResWales||Activity Type:||Walking||Difficulty:||Average||Distance:||1.199 mi (1.93 km)|
|Description:||Pull on your wellies and head out for a woodland adventure on this fun trail designed specially for children. The route follows the story of a sleeping giant who lives in the woods and has discarded his treasure chest, cauldron, books and a chair. As well as the intricately carved wooden sculptures, there are wooden stepping stones through the trees and, after wet winter weather, plenty of puddles to splash in. Fforest Fawr is near the fairy-tale style Castell Coch castle with its distinctive round turrets that rise above the woodland.
