|Description:||cheviot summit walk
Leaving from Cocklaw foot, this route follows good farm track and path. Eventually Joins the pennine way, where the path has been much improved over the years but can still be slippy and boggy in bits. Going up the Cheviot is a big slog, there are not many features to aid navigation, so please take this into account. The Cheviot is remote and can be very bleak in poor visibliity.....but hit it on a good day and enjoy the spectacular views across both Scotland and England!!!
