|Trail:||Craig Y Cilau - Llangattock Escarpment|
|Contributor:||divingscubaboy||Activity Type:||Walking||Difficulty:||Average||Distance:||6.307 mi (10.151 km)|
|Description:||Circular walk from Llangattock village which includes dramatic cliffs and caves, outstanding views, woodland and water. A bit of everything!
Parking at a layby next to the traffic lights on the bridge over the River Usk between Crickhowell and Llangattock, enough room for 3 / 4 cars but other parking available locally. This walk includes industrial heritage from old quarrying operations as well as nature reserve and farmland. The walking is generally very good but can be very soft underfoot in places. The walk includes very steep ascents at the beginning to arrive at the escarpment but the views are fantastic.
