|Description:||Meander through Nene Valley & see wetland birds through the nature reserve. Start at Rose & Crown NN14 3LB, [dog friendly] Nene way signposted left hand side of pub, through kissing gate across corner of field. Head across fields or follow the river, cross bridges towards woods, left through gate into Titchmarsh nature reserve as it passes between two lakes. Pass through a gate with a hide to the right & through car park, at road turn right at Grange house take path marked Baulks lane at village green turn right to Pear Tree farm. Past farm take footpath to the left opposite Trinity lower school. Go down concrete track to gate then diagonally to next gate towards Elinor trout fishery. Follow footpath on road at Elinor holiday cottages take right hand gate walking along right side of field under the pylons to the arched bridge. Go straight ahead along Ridge road to eventually returning into Islip at mill lane.
Gradient - some short inclines mainly flat level, walk time - 21/2 - 3hr, path description - mainly footpaths & byways.
