Description: Enjoy spectacular views towards the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons,keep your eyes peeled for wonderful wildlife, and discover hidden heritage along the way.

This is a moderately hilly route, using a mixture of green lanes, forestry tracks, fields and tarmac lanes. The route can be shortened to create 2 family friendly shorter walks. The route is way-marked - look out for the blue Tread and Trot rondels along the way. You can start the trail at any point and follow it in either direction. Try out the family Explorer Backpacks. They're packed with ideas to entertain the family along the way. Pick them up at Dingestow Post Office, Bridge Campsite or Whitehill Farm. Look out for'hotspots' where you can download information on your phone too.

Trail distance: 5.5 miles if walking.

Terrain: This trail has several gates.

Safety: Please ride with care on road sections,wear high visibility aids, and acknowledge consideration shown by drivers of motor vehicles. Keep to the line of bridleways when crossing farmland and remember hooves can damage surfaces especially during winter months. There is limited water available along the route for horses.
