Contributor: nomadic Activity Type: Walking Difficulty: Easy Distance: 5.701 mi (9.175 km)
Description: An easy 6 mile circular walk around an area of outstanding natural beauty. Best walked anti-clockwise with the section round Nover's Hill taken clockwise. Carding Mill Valley is particularly nice with refreshments, toilets and parking, but the same facilities are available in the town centre and I recommend starting in town as vehicle access to Carding Mill is very busy in summer. Toward the end of the walk, in Rectory Wood will be found an ancient Chestnut trees with something like a 30+ foot girth!
