|Description:||Short circular route taking in a lovely pub 'The Barge ' at Honey street,***** extreme caution should be taken at the rail crossing as its difficult and steep**** the style on the north side of the rail is especially difficult for those with dogs, it will require ALL dogs to be lifted, i made it ok with my large German Shepherd but please be aware that you will have to lift them.
Parking if sensible in Honey street or Beechingstoke or at Stanton Bridge
The route is easy and level with simple navigation. Can be muddy when wet, also be aware of grazing animals. The canal tow path can be especially muddy in places but its all passable.
