Trail: Grimwith Reservoir and Trollers Gill (0)
Contributor: jimc Activity Type: Hiking Difficulty: Average Distance: 7.738 mi (12.453 km)
Description: Starting just below Stump Cross Caverns the route crosses rough moorland to reach Grimwith Reservoir (Yorkshire's largest) before taking in the spectacular and (supposedly) haunted Trollers Gill. This section is a reasonably sternuous scramble down the rock-strewn ravine. The final stretch is a long, uphill pull via. Skyreholme Bank and a green track, leading back to the original staringpoint.
