Celebrating the 25th birthday of Britain’s best-selling walking magazine, and perfect for a Bank Holiday, the White to Dark Way is a three-day walk from the White Peak to the Dark Peak.
It’s the first major walkingdedicated to linking the Peak District’s two “halves”, across terrain ranging from meadows, woods and farmland to wild moorland and gritstone edges.
In the course of 27 marvellous miles you’ll go from Bakewell to Hope via dozens of unique landscapes, unmissable attractions and brilliant pubs.
Just some of the highlights include: MONSAL HEAD – CRESSBROOK DALE – LITTON – EYAM – BRETTON CLOUGH – HATHERSAGE – STANAGE EDGE – WIN HILL.

White to Dark waymarkers will be installed in July 2012 in conjunction with the Peak District National Park Authority, and 50,000 promotional leaflets will be distributed to tourist and visitor information centres in and around the area.
