Norfolk

Try plotting a route that winds its way through the market town of Aylsham and takes in Blickling Hall, a magnificent 17th century Jacobean house.

Lincolnshire

There’s some stunning cycle routes around Lincolnshire. A good idea is to plot a route along the railway that links Lincoln to Kirkstead Bridge.

Isle of Man

You can cycle around the Isle of Man very easily. A great route to take is the Castle Town route that takes in Castle Rushen, St Michael’s Fort and the water-powered carousel at Silverdale.

Cumbria

The Lake District’s beauty is unmissable if you take a route from Wast Water to Stanton Bridge. It’s a 12 mile journey, so make sure you’re well prepared.

Yorkshire

Try taking a route along the Leeds and Liverpool canal. A good 13 mile cycle can take you from the middle of Leeds city centre into the rustic charms of Yorkshire countryside and toward the Victorian village of Saltair.
